One platform. Three doors. No surprises.
Cities buy compliance and a local-economy engine for their whole coastline. Businesses buy their own front door where the city hasn't yet. One flat rate covers all beaches in the municipality — 1 beach or 20, same price.

Pricing, answered
- What if my city already subscribes?
- If your municipality holds the Economic Engine plan (Tier 2), your stay/eat/do listing is free — no Business Direct subscription needed. And if you're already paying Business Direct when your city upgrades, we automatically wind your subscription down at the end of the paid period and email you: your listing continues without interruption, covered by the city, at no cost to you.
- Does the city price change with the number of beaches?
- No. One flat rate covers every beach in the municipality — one beach or twenty, same price. Conditions logging, anchor pages, embed widgets, and alerts apply across your whole coastline.
- What's the difference between the $29 and $49 business plans?
- Both include your listing on every beach page within 5 km, coupons and specials, and a commission-free Book Direct link. The $49 plan adds featured-placement eligibility and multi-category listing (for example, a hotel that also runs kayak tours can appear under both stay and do).
- Do you certify beaches or sell certification?
- No. Certified Best Beaches is an independent directory. We report which beaches hold Blue Flag certification (year-stamped) and which we track as Certification Candidates, and we give municipalities the tools to publish daily water-quality and safety information. Blue Flag® is a registered mark of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE); we are not affiliated with or endorsed by FEE.
- How does a city subscribe?
- Request a walkthrough from the contact page or start from the Government Portal: once your municipal admin account is approved, checkout runs through Stripe from your dashboard and your portal unlocks the moment payment clears. Monthly and annual billing are both available.
